Who We Are

Hi, We are Andrew Hodson, the owner of Veritas Vineyards and Winery, Christopher Parker, founder of New Horizon Wines, and Tracy Waldron, founder of Waldron Wine Selections. We thought you would like to know a little bit about us on your journey to learn more about the wines and spirits of the world.

Andrew and Chris have extensive experience in the wine industry and have worked together for several years promoting wines of Virginia in the UK and Europe. Along the way at various events, tastings, and trade shows we realized that wine and spirits professionals were hungry for knowledge and experiences given in a fun and approachable manner.

We set out our plans for The Virginia Wine Academy, to establish the first WSET approved program provider located and certified in Virginia. Around the same time, we met Tracy Waldron, one conversation led to another, and we all realized the combination of our expertise and experiences would enable us to provide a rich educational experience for our students.
